MJF: Hangman Page Is A Good Competitor, But He’s Scared Of Me

AEW Revolution Post Show Media Scrum

AEW World Champion MJF addresses his enemies, including “Hangman” Adam Page.

MJF defeated Bryan Danielson in a 60-Minute Iron Man Match in the main event of AEW Revolution to retain the title. Moving forward, he’s gearing up for his next challenger, and plenty of contender are lying in wait.

During the AEW Revolution post-show media scrum, MJF was asked to name some opponents who are on his radar. He responded by naming several options, including former AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page. MJF stated that Page is scared of him, and he knows better than to come anywhere near the self-proclaimed “Generational Talent”.

“To be brutally honest, like I said, there’s a lot of people on my radar I am fully aware that Hangman Adam Page is a good competitor,” MJF said. “I’m also fully aware of how I won this [ring]. Anybody know who I beat for this Dynamite Diamond Ring originally? Hangman Adam Page. I think Hangman is scared of MJF, and I think Hangman knows better than to come anywhere near MJF for the time being.

The champion continued by stating that there are plenty of other AEW stars he doesn’t like, as he called out names like “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry, Adam Cole, Eddie Kingston, and Claudio Castagnoli.

“There are other people here that I genuinely really, really don’t like,” MJF said. “I also don’t love the fact that a guy like Jungle Boy or Darby Allin or Sammy Guevara is allowed to walk around like they are homegrown superstars. Yes, they’re homegrown, they’re very solid. But at this point, I think it is very obvious that there is only one pillar that actually holds this place up. So kind of would like to prove a point there. Adam Cole was talking s— on Twitter. Wasn’t a fan of that. Think he should keep his f—- mouth shut, and maybe he should tell his girlfriend to do so as well.

“Are there more people? Sure. I don’t like Claudio Castagnoli’s face, I think Eddie Kingston’s a crybaby bitch, and I think he’s also a little punk, and I wouldn’t mind getting a chance to slap across his blue-collar face. There’s a lot of people that I would love to absolutely demolish, both on the microphone and in the ring. But as I said, I don’t do dream matches. The only dream I have is to hold this [title] and for the reign of terror to last an eternity.”

MJF threw a drink at a fan during his match at AEW Revolution; during the scrum, he and AEW CEO Tony Khan commented on the incident. More information is available here.
