Report: Sarray Leaving WWE, Returning To Japan In May

Sarray‘s time with WWE is reportedly coming to an end.

Per Tokyo Sports, Sarray, also known as Sareee, will leave the company when her contract expires, and she will start wrestling in Japan again once she enters free agency. She is slated to return to the ring at the Shinjuku event on May 16, which has been named “Sareee-ism”. Her return is set to be announced at a press conference on March 13.

Sarray initially announced she was signing with WWE in February 2020, but the COVID-19 pandemic pandemic delayed her arrival in the United States until the following April. She had an inconsistent run in NXT after her debut, and she even returned to Japan for a few weeks in late 2021. Sarray was repackaged with a new persona, and she lost a feud against Tiffany Stratton. She made a few more appearances on NXT and she also debuted on NXT UK. In Sarray’s final WWE match, Mandy Rose beat her on the August 2 episode of NXT.

In a tweet, Sarray addressed the matter and confirmed that she will have a press conference on March 13, which will stream live on Instagram.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
