Sareee, formerly known as Sarray, confirms that her time with WWE has come to an end.
On March 9, Tokyo Sports reported that Sarree would be returning to Japan in May following the expiration of her WWE contract.
In a tweet on March 13, Sareee confirmed her exit; she stated that she did her best, and she is glad that she had the chance to go to WWE. She also thanked WWE and the WWE Universe.
Additionally, in a press conference on March 13, Sareee stated that she is now a freelancer.
In February 2020, Sareee announced that she was joining WWE, but she was unable to come ton the United States until 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. She made her debut on the April 20 episode of NXT in 2021. Her last WWE match came on the August 2, 2022 episode of NXT, where she lost to Mandy Rose.
Sareee is currently set to return at the “Saree-ism” event on May 16.
