Wes Lee wants a challenge, and he’ll get one at NXT Stand & Deliver.
In recent weeks, Lee has been holding open challenges for the NXT North American Championship. These matches have tested the champion, but Lee has emerged victorious. During this run, he has beaten Nathan Frazer and Von Wagner, among other stars.
On the March 14 episode of WWE NXT, Lee was set to hold another open challenge. Several members of the roster brawled with each other, hoping to clinch the right to face Lee. Instead, the brawl spiraled out of control, and Lee did not defend the title on Tuesday.
The NXT Anonymous twitter account then showed a clip of a conversation between Lee and Shawn Michaels. Lee stated that he wanted to face 10 men at NXT Stand & Deliver. Michaels met him halfway and agreed to give him a Fatal Five-Way Match.
WWE then confirmed the title match for NXT Stand & Deliver.
