Kota Ibushi Reveals He Injured His Shoulder Again, Still Plans To Compete At Bloodsport

Kota Ibushi has hurt his shoulder again.

Ibushi has not wrestled since October 2021, when he went down with a shoulder injury during his match with Kazuchika Okada in the finals of the G1 Climax 2021 tournament. The former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion is set to return to the ring at GCW Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport 9 and Joey Janela’s Spring Break 7 as part of The Collective 2023.

In a tweet, Ibushi announced that he re-injured his shoulder while training, but he still intends to compete.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
