Bron Breakker has turned heel.
Breakker has been a face for the duration of his run in NXT, but the two-time NXT Champion turned heel on Tuesday night. On the April 4 episode of WWE NXT, Carmelo Hayes, fresh off of beating Breakker for the title at NXT Stand & Deliver, called Breakker to the ring and expressed his gratitude to the fomer champion.
Breakker raised Hayes’ hand, seemingly ready to leave the ring so Hayes could celebrate, but he shocked the crowd by attacking “Melo” as NXT drew to a close.
Breakker stood tall to close the show, and it was evident that he wasn’t done with Hayes, or NXT itself, yet.
