Vince McMahon Has A Code Of Conduct Provision In His New WWE Employment Contract

New details about Vince McMahon‘s new WWE employment contract have emerged.

Vince McMahon signed an employment contract with WWE on March 29, prior to the merger with Endeavor Group. The contract explains that McMahon will serve as Executive Chairman for two years and it is retroactive to January 9, 2023, the day he officially returned to the company.

The Hollywood Reporter recently ran a profile on the UFC/WWE merger under the Endeavor umbrella. It was noted in the feature that THR viewed a copy of McMahon’s new contract and it stipulates that his continued employment is conditional to several terms. Among those stipulations, McMahon must comply with the company’s “Conflict of Interest and Code of Conduct,” and its “Equal Opportunity and Non-Harassment Policy”.

CNBC interviewed Vince McMahon and Endeavor’s Ari Emmanuel about the sale of WWE. McMahon was asked why he was selling a company that had been in his family for 70 years, and he said it was just the right time.

“It’s the right time to do the right thing, and it’s the next evolution of WWE,” McMahon said. “I could probably do what Ari is doing right now with UFC but it would take me ten years. By the I grab those ten years, he’d be ten years ahead of me [laughs] It makes all the sense in the world for all of these synergies that we have to extract all of the value we can out of the marketplace.”
