All Elite Wrestling has announced a buzzworthy bout for the special Saturday episode of AEW Rampage on April 22.
Due to TNT’s coverage of the NHL Playoffs, AEW Rampage will air on Saturday, April 22, instead of its usual Friday night slot, and AEW has confirmed a title match for the show. As announced during the April 14 episode, Dralistico will challenge El Hijo del Vikingo for the AAA Mega Championship.
Vikingo has competed on AEW/ROH TV multiple times in recent weeks. He battled Kenny Omega on the March 22 episode of AEW Dynamite, and he defended the gold against Dralistico at ROH Supercard of Honor 2023.
As of this writing, the AAA Mega Championship match is the only bout that has been announced for the April 22 episode of AEW Rampage. WrestleZone will have coverage of the show as it airs.
