Clark Connors Joins Bullet Club, Tag Titles Change Hands At NJPW Capital Collision

New Japan Pro-Wrestling delivered a buzzworthy show on April 15, as NJPW Capital Collision featured the introduction of a new Bullet Club member and a title change.

On Saturday, David Finlay revealed that he picked Clark Connors as the newest member of the stable. Finlay took over after he joined the group at NJPW 51st Anniversary; in doing so, he kicked off a new era of Bullet Club, as its previous leader, Jay White, left NJPW.

Finlay defeated AR Fox at NJPW Capital Collision and offered Connors a spot in the group. Connors came out and accepted after he attacked The DKC earlier in the show.

Additionally, Aussie Open (Mark Davis and Kyle Fletcher) made history on Saturday. They became the first-ever dual IWGP and STRONG Openweight Tag Team Champions when they defeated The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley) and Hiroshi Tanahashi and Kazuchika Okada.

Aussie Open were the inaugural STRONG Openweight Tag Team Champions, and they lost the titles to the Machine Guns at NJPW Rumble on 44th Street in October.

WrestleZone will have coverage of NJPW Collision in Philadelphia as it airs on April 16.
