Update On Warner Bros Discovery Being Interested In WWE Programming

It was reported last week that Warner Bros. Discovery might be interested in adding WWE programming to their lineup if they lose NBA rights. This was a hot topic when Journalist James Andrew Miller joined the SI Media Podcast and stated that he ‘wouldn’t be surprised if Warner Brothers Discovery wouldn’t like a slice of that WWE pie.’

Fightful Select followed up on the speculation with a new report over the weekend that said WWE higher-ups have not heard anything about Warner Bros. Discovery being interested in WWE Programming. The report said that there have been no conversations between WWE and Warner Bros Discovery but that WWE has had conversations with other places.

When following up with WBD sources, Fighftul said that they have been planning to ‘substantially increase their relationship with AEW‘ with additional content which will be publicized very soon. It was suggested that this may be regarding the upcoming AEW Collision announcement. It was also said that WBD had no bad things to say about WWE but there have been no talks between the two sides.
