Steve Austin: One More Match Could Happen, I’m Not Lobbying For It

Stone Cold Steve Austin isn’t ruling out the possibility of one more match.

WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin recently sat down with Graham Matthews of Bleacher Report to discuss a wide variety of subjects. When asked about the possibility of one more match after coming out of retirement to face Kevin Owens at WrestleMania 38, Austin talked about how the stars aligned for that match to come together.

“I said many years ago, ‘I’m done, I’m never going to wrestle again, but if the stars ever aligned…’ and they did,” Steve Austin said. “When they approached me about working with Kevin Owens at WrestleMania 38, I turned them down several times until we came up with that idea. So, we went out and did it.”

As far as another match goes, shockingly, Stone Cold didn’t rule the possibility of it out but admitted it wasn’t something he was lobbying for.

“Could it still happen? Yeah, it could still happen,” Steve Austin said. “Am I lobbying for it? Am I trying to get anybody talking about it? No. If you ever ask me a question, I’m going to give you an honest answer.”
