Lita Believes WrestleMania 39 Stands At The Very Top Of Her Mania Moments

Lita has had a few WrestleMania moments in her career, but none truly compare to the feeling of WrestleMania 39.

Earlier this year, Lita stepped back into the squared circle to assist Becky Lynch in fending off Damage CTRL (Bayley, Dakota Kai & IYO SKY). The two soon received an opportunity to challenge Kai and SKY for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships. Of course, they won. Heading into WrestleMania though, Lita and Lynch were down in numbers. Luckily, WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus arrived to even the score. Soon, a six-woman tag team match emerged.

Speaking with TMZ Sports, Lita (real name Amy Dumas) reflected on her WrestleMania 39 victory over Damage CTRL. While the win was cool for her, Lita was more focused on savoring the moment. When asked where this year’s moment ranked within her WrestleMania appearances, Lita explained why it stood at the very top.

“I mean, I would put it at the top, and here’s why. With age comes perspective. I just feel like I could really be in the moment and soak it in and just be really appreciative to be there and to have done it. When I wasn’t looking for it, it was able to give me this really like in the moment sense of appreciation. In a way, I was a fan in the stadium, but I just happened to be walking down the ramp. And so, I just really was able to feel in the moment. Not that many of my other Mania moments weren’t important, but I feel like I kind of got lost in them because I was worried about the next thing, or I was just like out of body. I was just able to soak this one in.”
