The Firm Deletion match has been confirmed.
As announced on the April 28 episode of AEW Rampage, Matt and Jeff Hardy will return to The Hardy Compound for The Firm Deletion match. There, they will team up with FTW Champion HOOK and Isiah Kassidy to face Ethan Page, Lee Moriarty, Big Bill, and Stokely Hathaway of The Firm.
The match is set to be the culmination of Matt’s lengthy feud with The Firm, which stemmed from the stable acquiring both his contract and that of Private Party. After he was initially mistreated by Hathaway and Page, Hardy manipulated “All Ego” into thinking they were friends before he turned on Page on the April 5 episode of AEW Dynamite.
Matt subsequently challenged The Firm to The Firm Deletion match after he reunited with his brother Jeff, who returned to AEW after a lengthy absence on the April 12 episode of AEW Dynamite. The date for the match hadn’t been confirmed prior to Froday’s episode of AEW Rampage.
