Booker T Reveals What He Ordered On DoorDash During NXT, Says It Was Off The Chain

Booker T just wanted to guarantee he had a hot meal waiting.

Speaking on The Hall of Fame Podcast with co-host Brad Gilmore, Booker T was asked about the tweet that showed him ordering DoorDash during the May 2 NXT taping. The video showed Booker placing a DoorDash order during the show-closing segment with Indi Hartwell.

“It was the end of the show, the show was over. That had nothing to do with me. I knew I was gonna be exiting the building shortly after. I wanted my meal hot and ready to go when I got there,” Booker T said. “What’s the problem with that? [laughs] It’s a damn shame, man. People, man.”

What did he order?

“I got chicken parm from Fridays,” Booker T explained. “I got chicken parm, with some shrimp on the side, with a little Jack Daniels barbecue sauce. I made sure they brought the Frank’s Red Hot to go on it as well. That was actually my second meal back in the country. I had Cracker Barrel earlier, and I had the meatloaf, since you guys want to know what I’m eating. It was off the chain, too. It was so good.”

Booker T said he’s seen the video, but didn’t realize how much attention it got. He noted how he still delivered a final remark during the segment, but he could have been more mindful of the situation in hindsight.

“Good for Indi Hartwell. I made sure that I got the last note that I had to say, which was, ‘When a man loves a woman, it’s a beautiful thing.’ That’s all I need to say in that segment. The camera wasn’t on me.” Asked if he’s upset with the fan for taping it “A little bit, a little bit. But that’s on me. I gotta be on my p’s and q’s. But no doubt, I was trying to make sure I got my meal ready and hot because I’m gonna be out of there. I had a long day. You know how long it has been since I had American food? That right there in itself should give me the right to do what the hell I want to do at that moment in time.”
