MJF Retains AEW World Championship At AEW Double Or Nothing

MJF continues to reign supreme.

At AEW Double or Nothing, MJF defended the AEW World Championship against Darby Allin, “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry, and Sammy Guevara in a four-way match that put the Four Pillars against each other.

The four stars battled it out in a heart-pounding match, and all four men put their bodies on the line. Guevara hit several high-risk moves, including a Spanish Fly onto his fellow competitors to the outside.

In the closing moments, Guevara took Perry out with a GTH. Allin then hit Perry with a Coffib Drop, but Allin’s head landed on the AEW World Championship belt. MJF picked Allin up and hit him with the headlock takeover for the win. After the bell, MJF called himself the best wrestler in the world, and he questioned when AEW would start giving him competition, as he claimed he was getting bored.

MJF won the title back at AEW Full Gear 2022 by defeating Jon Moxley. He has successfully defended the title against Ricky Starks and Bryan Danielson.
