LA Knight: Money In The Bank Opportunity is ‘Long Overdue’

LA Knight will be competing in 2023’s Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match at the upcoming pay-per-view. While the opportunity is big, Knight recently said its long overdue he has a shot at a title.

Speaking backstage during the latest episode of SmackDown LowDown following last night’s episode of WWE SmackDown, Knight was asked about the upcoming match. When other superstars participating in the match were brought up, Knight was quick to brush off any talk of competition. Instead, the superstar wanted to skip to what matters, and said that he’s the only man in the match that matters.

“Who’s gonna be in this match, huh? Does it matter? Six guys, seven guys, eight guys, ten guys, doesn’t make a different,” said Knight. “Because one man will climb, make the acclivity up to that ladder, grab that briefcase, and after that, any title I want.”

Knight went on to speculate about what title he might go for after winning, before sending a message to anyone who might be holding a title.

“All I can tell you is, if you’re holding some gold title out there, keep your eyes out, because I’m coming for you,” Knight said. “Money in the Bank, yeah, long overdue, because whose game is it? It’s LA Knight’s game, yeah.”
