Lance Archer Reveals He Has Been Battling A Torn Triceps, Says He’s Back

Lance Archer explains why he hasn’t been wrestling a lot lately, and he noted that “bad booking” had nothing to do with it.

Archer faced Will Ospreay at NJPW Dominion, and the match was only his tenth contest of 2023, though he has competed for AEW, ROH, NJPW, and 1PW.

During an interview following his match at NJPW Dominion, Archer stated that he had been dealing with a tone triceps, and that he needed time, but he’s back. (H/t Fightful for the transcription.)

Every f—— mark around the world, this message is for you. There’s a reason I haven’t been wrestling a lot, and it has nothing to do with bad booking, you dumb sh—.

“What everybody doesn’t even realize that I’ve been battling a torn tricep and I’ve kept it quiet. I didn’t tell everybody because I don’t need your sympathy, I don’t need your get well wishes. I don’t need anything. I just needed time, and now I’m back.”
