Ring of Honor Results – June 8, 2023

Ring of Honor Wrestling on HonorClub kicks off with an announcement that we’ll hear from Tony Khan later on tonight.

Kyle Fletcher defeated Christopher Daniels

  • Kyle Fletcher hit a hammerlock piledriver on Christopher Daniels to secure the pinfall victory.

Matt Sydal defeated Zack Clayton (w/ Cole Karter)

  • Matt Sydal hits Zack Clayton with a Meteora coming off the top rope to win the match via pinfall.

Sydal gets on the microphone afterward and said Clayton is twice his size, and he cut through him like a buzzsaw. Sydal said he wants to be Ring of Honor Television Champion and that if Samoa Joe wants to remain the King of Television, he’ll have to stop him first.

Dralistico (w/ Jose the Assistant) defeated Willie Mack

  • Thanks to a distraction from Jose the Assistant, Dralistico hits Willie Mack with a low blow before hitting him with the Incinerator Knee to pick up the pinfall victory.

Tony Khan comes out on the stage and announces that next week on Ring of Honor, Samoa Joe will defend the Ring of Honor World Television Championship against Matt Sydal. Khan says he has a ton of responsibilities in ROH and AEW and he has decided to form a Board of Directors in Ring of Honor.

Khan said he’ll still have the final say, but these men will have a lot of authority. He introduces Stokely Hathaway. Hathaway says he loves AEW and ROH and he loves him too. The two men share a hug. He said he loves the fans, but it took him some effort to say it.

Tony Khan then introduces Jerry Lynn. Lynn and Hathaway shake hands. Lynn thanks Khan for the opportunity and says he won’t be disappointed.

Willow Nightingale defeated Rachael Ellering to retain the New Japan STRONG Women’s Championship

  • Willow Nightingale applied a Camel Clutch on Rachael Ellering to win the match via submission.

Ring of Honor World Six-Man Tag Team Champions The Embassy defeated Marcus Kross, Eli Isom, and Cheeseburger in a Proving Ground Match

  • The Embassy hit a triple-team powerbomb on Marcus Kross as Kaun gets the pinfall for his team.

Mercedes Martinez defeated Vertvixen

  • Mercedes Martinez locks on the Brass City Sleeper on Vertvixen to secure a submission victory.

Lee Moriarity defeated Griff Garrison

  • Lee Moriarty rakes the eyes of Griff Garrison and gets him a Hiromu roll to win the match via pinfall.

Kiera Hogan defeated Robyn Renegade

  • Kiera Hogan hits a double super kick on Robyn Renegade to secure the pinfall victory.

Athena attacks Kiera Hogan from behind after the match. Athena tries to hit Hogan with a Kendo stick but Hogan moves and it ricochets back and hits Athena in the head. Hogan gets the Kendo stick and beats Athena with it before she retreats up the aisle.

Dark Order defeated Shane Taylor and The Workhorsemen

  • John Silver and Alex Reynolds hit their double-team sequence on JD Drake to get the pinfall victory.

We hear from The Righteous and Stu Grayson backstage, Grayson said he’s not impressed by the victory. He said they aren’t the Dark Order that’s willing to kick the door down. Vincent said if Dark Order thinks what they did this week was bad, tune in next week to see what they do.

Darius Martin, Action Andretti, and AR Fox defeated The Trustbusters

  • Action Andretti scored the pinfall victory on Jeeves Kay for his team.

The Kingdom (w/ Maria Kanellis) defeated Combarde and Dragon

  • The Kingdom hits The Proton Pack on Combarde, and Matt Taven gets the pinfall victory.

Tony Khan, Stokely Hathaway, and Jerry Lynn return to the stage. Khan said everything is going incredibly well. Hathway pitches a handicap match between Action Andretti and The Embassy next week.

Khan changes it up to The Embassy defending the Ring of Honor World Six-Man Tag Team Titles against Action Andretti, Darius Martin, and AR Fox. Tony Khan also shoots down Hathaway’s idea of no more Lucha Libre on Ring of Honor. TK introduces the main event of the evening.

Ring of Honor World Tag Team Champion Rey Fenix (w/ Alex Abrahantes) defeated Gravity

  • Rey Fenix hit the Fenix Driver on Gravity to score the pinfall victory.

Gravity and Rey Fenix embrace in the ring as Ring of Honor Wrestling goes off the air.
