WWE star Braun Strowman will drive the pace car at a NASCAR race.
During the June 9 episode of WWE SmackDown, WWE shared the news that Strowman will drive the pace car when the NASCAR Cup Series comes to the Sonoma Raceway for the Toyota/Save Mart 350. The race will air at 3:30 p.m. ET on FOX and the FOX Sports app.
WWE has crossed over with NASCAR before; Dominik Mysterio raced his father, Rey Mysterio, on the February 3 episode of WWE SmackDown.
Strowman has been sidelined in recent weeks, as he has not wrestled since the May 1 episode of WWE RAW. On June 2, Strowman announced that he had neck fusion surgery.
