Mercedes Moné posts a brief update following her injury at NJPW Resurgence.
Moné suffered an apparent injury at the end of her match at NJPW Resurgence on May 21, where she faced Willow Nightingale in the finals of the NJPW STRONG Women’s Championship. Moné then commented on the injury, and NJPW confirmed it.
In a post on her Instagram, Moné shared a picture in which her ankle can be seen in a cast, and she stated that she is on day six of recovery following an apparent surgery.
