WWE has added a new match and multiple segments for the first week of the WWE NXT Gold Rush special.
WWE also announced that NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes and Baron Corbin will come face-to-face one final time before they clash in a title match on the June 27 episode of WWE NXT.
Elsewhere on the show, Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson will face Yulisa Leon and Valentina Feroz on the June 20 episode of WWE NXT. Feroz and Leon interfered when Jackson and Legend got involved in the Heritage Cup match between Nathan Frazer and Oro Mensah on the June 13 episode.
Plus, Chase U will throw Thea Hail a pep rally ahead of her match with NXT Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton the following week.
The updated card for the June 20 episode of WWE NXT is as follows:
- WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Seth Rollins (c) vs. Bron Breakker
- NXT North American Championship: Wes Lee (c) vs. Tyler Bate (with Mustafa Ali as referee)
- #1 Contender’s Match: Malik Blade & Edris Enofe vs. Hank Walker & Tank Ledger vs. Josh Briggs & Brooks Jensen
- Dana Brooke vs. Cora Jade
- Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson vs. Yulisa Leon & Valentina Feroz
