Report: Kenny Omega, Young Bucks Not Set For AEW Dynamite Or Collision This Week

It sounds like we won’t see Kenny Omega on All Elite Wrestling programming until Forbidden Door on Sunday.

The IWGP United States Champion was attacked from behind by Will Ospreay during the close of last week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, and it sounds like that attack might have been done to explain his absence this week.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, Kenny Omega will not appear live on AEW Dynamite or Collision this week ahead of AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.

In an update, the Wrestling Observer reported that the Young Bucks are not planned for Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite either, and the decision was Tony Khan’s call.

It has also been reported that in addition to AEW Collision this week, CM Punk is likely to appear on AEW Dynamite on Wednesday in Chicago at the Wintrust arena. This appearance has yet to be announced or confirmed by All Elite Wrestling.

It’s currently unknown if Kenny Omega will appear in a pre-taped segment on either show for the final build to his match with Will Ospreay or if things will be done strictly through video packages.
