Blood & Guts is returning to AEW Dynamite in July.
During the June 28 Dynamite in Hamilton, The Elite’s Hangman Page and The Young Bucks defeated The Dark Order in a trios bout. But afterward, The Elite was attacked by Blackpool Combat Club’s Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, and Konosuke Takeshita.
Eddie Kingston attempted to make the save, but he was beaten down as well. Moxley then grabbed a mic and officially challenged The Elite to a Blood & Guts match at Dynamite in Boston on Wednesday, July 19. The show will be held at TD Garden.
Blackpool Combat Club has been feuding with The Elite for the past several months. Takeshita helped Blackpool Combat Club beat The Elite in the Anarchy in the Arena match at AEW Double or Nothing. Page and the Young Bucks, along with Kingston and Tomohiro Ishii, defeated Moxley’s stable at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door.
The July 19 episode of AEW Dynamite will feature the third WarGames-like match in AEW since it was introduced in 2021. The first year saw The Pinnacle beat The Inner Circle, while last year’s match featured The Blackpool Combat Club defeating Jericho Appreciation Society.
