AEW Dynamite viewership saw a decrease on June 28.
According to Wrestlenomics, 809,000 viewers watched AEW Dynamite on Wednesday night. The show also drew a 0.24 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. Viewership was down from last week’s episode when 902,000 viewers tuned in. The demo also dropped from last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.33 rating in the same demographic.
Despite the drop in viewership and the key demo, AEW Dynamite was still the third-overall ranked show on cable for Wednesday night.
This week’s show featured Tomohiro Ishii versus Jon Moxley, Chris Jericho & Sammy Guevara versus Sting & Darby Allin in a Tornado Tag Match, as well as appearances from MJF, Adam Cole and Jack Perry. A first-round Owen Hart Tournament match between Dr. Britt Baker D.M.D. and Ruby Soho was scheduled for the show, but Baker was pulled last minute due to illness.
