WWE & AEW Each File For New Trademarks

Wrestling companies are always staying on top of trademarks and both WWE and AEW have recently filed for new ones.

WWE filed for ring names Zeus and NYX with the United States Patent and Trademark Office on June 27. Zeus was the ring name of Tommy Lister Jr. who appeared in the No Holds Barred movie with Hulk Hogan in 1989. The movie was funded by WWE and Zeus was a heel that would feud with Hogan in WWE. It is unknown if WWE will use the name in any other capacity. It is known what WWE plans to do with NYX at this time.
