AEW’s Thunder Rosa Believed To Be Done With Busted Open After WWE Radio Rebrand — Report

Thunder Rosa‘s run as a co-host on Busted Open Radio could reportedly be coming to an end following SiriusXM’s upcoming rebrand of its wrestling channel.

Dave Meltzer via Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that those close to the situation believe the AEW star will no longer be part of Busted Open. Rosa has been one of the show’s rotating co-hosts in recent years, although her appearances have become less frequent in recent months. She most recently called into the show earlier this month during a special episode celebrating Dave LaGreca’s birthday.

Meltzer noted that Rosa was absent from WWE Radio’s promotional materials announcing the revamped lineup.

“Thunder Rosa had been on the show but she’s not listed in any of the press releases and those close to the situation believe she will no longer be on the show. I would think given this would be a WWE controlled show that it would be impossible to keep an AEW talent on it,” Meltzer wrote.

SiriusXM’s Pro Wrestling Nation 24/7 channel is set to officially relaunch as WWE Radio on Monday, July 27. Busted Open will remain the flagship program on the channel, while shows hosted by Sam Roberts, Peter Rosenberg, and others will continue as part of the lineup.

In addition, WWE Radio will feature original commentary for every Premium Live Event, audio simulcasts of RAW, SmackDown, and NXT, along with programming based on WWE’s growing podcast network.
