Mickie James is set to return to the ring.
James last wrestled at the IMPACT Wrestling tapings on February 26; she has been sidelined due to a rib injury. As a result, she was forced to relinquish the IMPACT Knockouts World Championship.
James’ husband, Nick Aldis, recently noted that she was cleared to compete, and a report from Fightful Select offered more information about her status.
In a tweet, James’ first match since February was advertised for the Association Biterroise de Catch”Festival International De Catch” event in France on July 8; she is set to face Aurora Teves in the Jean Corne Cup.
James commented on the news by stating that she can’t wait to go to France, and her first match back would be a real test.
