Tony Khan announced a change to the card of the July 8 episode of AEW Collision, as Willow Nightingale has not been cleared to compete.
In a tweet ahead of the show, the AEW CEO wrote that Nightingale is unable to wrestle due to injuries she suffered in Japan. As a result, her match on the July 8 episode of AEW Rampage has been rescheduled to the July 14 episode of AEW Rampage in order to give Nightingale an opportunity to get cleared.
Nightingale wrestled at both nights of the NJPW STRONG Independence Day event on July 4 and 5. She was set to face Athena in an Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament semifinal match on Saturday.
