Timothy Thatcher Suffers Apparent Injury At MLW Never Say Never

Timothy Thatcher‘s return to MLW ended prematurely, as his match ended due to an apparent injury.

At MLW Never Say Never on July 8, Thatcher made his return to MLW, and he faced “Hot Sauce” Tracy Williams. The two competitors waged war in a physical match, and Williams seemingly got the win with a DDT, as the referee seemingly counted the pin. But something was clearly wrong, as the bell didn’t immediately ring. The match continued, as apparently Thatcher kicked out. The referee then called for the bell and made the “x” sign to indicate that Thatcher was injured.

Williams was declared the winner, and the medical team checked on Thatcher, who eventually walked up the ramp.

Later in the show, the broadcast team noted that Thatcher had been diagnosed with a concussion, but the severity was unclear.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
