AEW/ROH star Eddie Kingston wants to face Shingo Takagi.
The NJPW G1 33 Climax tournament is underway, and NJPW STRONG Openweight Champion Eddie Kingston defeated Shingo Takagi on the second night of the competition. After the match, Kingston stated that he wants to face Takagi, either at AEW All In or AEW All Out, and he told Tony Khan to call Takagi to make it happen.
Takagi also made it clear that he wants a rematch with Kingston.
Takagi previously competed at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2023; he teamed up with BUSHI and Hiromu Takahashi to defeat Jeff Cobb, TJP, and Kyle Fletcher on the Zero Hour pre-show. He also wrestled at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2022, where he joined forces with Sting and Darby Allin to beat The Young Bucks and El Phantasmo.
