Jon Moxley is fired up ahead of the Blood & Guts match on the July 19 episode of AEW Dynamite.
On Wednesday, Moxley and Blackpool Combat Club will face The Golden Elite in the Blood & Guts match. The bout promises to deliver plenty of carnage, and “The Purveyor of Violence”, can’t wait.
Speaking with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Moxley shared his thoughts ahead of the match, which will be held at the TD Garden.
“I f—ing love TD Garden and Boston,” Moxley said. “What a building, what a crowd. It’s going to be f—ing awesome.”
Moxley also described how the match will be an opportunity for Blackpool Combat Club to cement their status as the most dominant group in AEW.
“We’re going after the best, or at least the supposed best, in The Elite,” Moxley said. “The freaking company is named after them. Blood & Guts is our chance to plant our flag as the most dominant group in AEW.
The former AEW World Champion made it clear that he’s excited to bring a unique version of Blood & Guts to the fans. He also took a shot at The Elite by questioning whether they have ever competed in the TD Garden.
“I’m f—ing excited as all hell to bring something very unique—our version of Blood & Guts—to those fans and all the history of pro wrestling in Boston. I don’t know if anyone in The Elite has ever wrestled in the TD Garden before.”
