Seth Rollins is no stranger to having action figures made in his likeness. However, if it were up to him, he’d have a new action figure of himself released weekly.
Speaking to Ringside Collectibles while at San Diego Comic-Con 2023, Rollins was asked about what he’d like to see on future iterations of action figures and if he’d like to see any special outfits used. According to Rollins, he has so many looks; they could make a ton of toys based on him.
“I mean, I just have so many looks; I think you could do a new action figure…you know what they should? They should just do 52 weeks of Seth Freakin’ Rollins. They should just do every single week, a new figure of me with a new outfit.
“That would be something to chase; you would be able to collect those. Talk about that on your wall because that’s how fresh the looks are. I got so many every week; it’s blowing my mind; I imagine in action figure form, that’d be something special, something very unique. Think about it.”
Of course, Rollins also grew up playing with action figures, and he mentioned growing up playing with things like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, wrestling figures, and one special figure he still holds onto to this day.
“My favorite turtle was Leo, man,” said Rollins. “Yeah, he was, you know, the designated leader of the Ninja Turtles. And so I always kind of stuck to that; I liked that. Mikey was cool too, but Leo was my guy. And then yeah, when I was a kid, I played with the turtles, I played with G.I. Joes a lot. I just really liked the mobility that they had.
“And then I had the hard action fingers with the spring-loaded jumping, so we had a [The Ultimate Warrior], and we had a [Hulk Hogan] that did the body slam action. To this day, the only one that I own still is Jake the Snake Roberts, with the arm, the arm that kind of did that. And he’s in a case in my office. And so I still have him; he’s the last vestige of my action figure youth. But yeah, we played with those for many, many hours.”
