Kota Ibushi Comments On His Performance In AEW’s Blood & Guts Match

Kota Ibushi has broken his silence regarding last week’s Blood & Guts match on AEW Dynamite.

While many fans were thrilled to see Kota Ibushi on AEW Dynamite last week, there were some fans who were very critical of his performance and how slow he moved during the matchup.

Ibushi took to social media last night to comment on his performance last week on AEW Dynamite as part of The Golden Elite in the Blood & Guts match against Blackpool Combat Club. The Golden Star revealed that his thin wrestling boots were not prepared for the glass and thumbtacks in the match, and it punctured them, hindering his performance.

The following is a rough English translation of Ibushi’s tweet:

“I’m back! It’s my bad for not knowing there would be thumbtacks and glass bits. They pierced my thin Wrestling shoes so my movements felt like an old man halfway because it hurts. Damn! I couldn’t kick and my legs felt stiff. First time living with a cane! But I’ll be fine tomorrow! Because that’s the life of Kota Ibushi!”
