AEW Collision Viewership Rises On 7/29, Draws Highest Rating Since Premiere

AEW Collision‘s viewership increased on July 29.

According to Wrestlenomics, 739,000 viewers tuned in on Saturday. This number is up from the July 22 episode, when 618,000 viewers watched the show.

Collision drew a 0.27 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The demographic rating was up from last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.18 rating.

Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics noted that the final quarter-hour, which featured the end of the main event, marked the show’s highest. The 9:45-10 p.m. portion of the show averaged 837,000 and a 0.33 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic.

This Week’s Episode of AEW Collision

This week’s show kicked off with Andrade El Idolo defeating The House of Black’s Buddy Matthews in a ladder match where El Idolo reclaimed his mask.

Elsewhere on the show, CM Punk revealed his bag contained the AEW World Championship that he never lost from All Out 2022. He will defend his title against Ricky Starks next week on Collision.

In the main event, FTR defeated AEW World Champion MJF and Adam Cole to retain the AEW World Tag Team Titles.
