Axiom vs. Mustafa Ali

Ali takes an early advantage, flooring Axiom with a shoulder block and several strikes. Axiom and Ali trade pin attempts. Axiom tries to fire back, but Ali quickly cuts him off. The fight spills out on the apron. Axiom sends Ali flying off the apron into the commentary desk with a flying head scissors. Scrypts walks down the ramp to watch the match. Ali lands a modified buckshot lariat off the top rope for a near fall.

Bronco Nima and Lucien Price join Scrypts on the stage. Ali tries a springboard. Axiom counters, and German suplexes Ali off the ropes. Scrypts and Co leave. Ali gets trapped in a rear naked choke. Ali counters it with a jackhammer. Axiom and Ali fight up top. Ali almost rips off Axiom’s mask. Ali acts as if it was an accident. Axiom tries to fix his mask. Ali pushes Axiom off the top. Axiom hits the floor with a sickening thud. Ali hits a 450 for the win.

Winner- Mustafa Ali

After the match, Ali grabs the camera and tells everyone he wants the next shot at the North American Championship. He’s the next champ.

Kelani Jordan w/Dana Brooke vs. Blair Davenport

Davenport works Jordan’s arm. Jordan reverses it into a wristlock. Jordan lands a springboard rana. Circus hip toss by Jordan. Jordan cartwheels into a backslide for a near fall. Davenport rolls out of the ring to stop Jordan’s momentum. Jordan catches Davenport with a cartwheel elbow strike. Jordan sets up a rocker dropper. Davenport avoids it. Jordan gets hung up in the ropes. Davenport crushes Jordan with a top rope double stomp. Davenport destroys Jordan with the kamigoye for the win.

Winner- Blair Davenport

After the match, Dana Brooke chases Davenport around the ring with a belt. Jordan tries to get Brooke to calm down. Brooke almost hits Jordan. Both women argue.

Backstage, Von Wagner says Bron Breakker is a badass, but even badasses need to get knocked down a peg.

Noam Dar w/Meta-Four vs. Tyler Bate (Winner gets Dar’s Counterfit Heritage Cup)

Round One:

Bate and Dar trade submission hold. Bate floors Dar with a dropkick. Dar works a guillotine. Bate picks up Dar and drops him on his face. Dar counters bop and bang. Neither man can get an advantage. The round ends with both men struggling in a lock up.

Dar-0/Bate-0

Round Two:

Dar retreats out of the ring. Bate lands a dive. Bate sends Dar back into the ring and hits the Tyler Driver for the first pinfall.

Dar-0/Bate-1

Round Three:

Bate leaps off the top. Dar moves, but Bate lands on his feet. Bate tweaks his leg. Dar and Bate clothesline each other at the same time. Both men are down. Dar and Bate both blast each other with right hands. Bate’s hand fall on Dar, and the referee starts to count. The time expires when the referee counts to three.

Dar-0/Bate-1

Round Four:

Airplane spin by Bate. Bate tries a running shooting star, but Dar gets his knees up. Dar catches Bate with a spinning back elbow. Dar puts Bate in a knee bar. Bate tries to crawl to the ropes with over a minute left. Bate is forced to tap out. Dar refuses to let the knee bar go.

Dar-1/Bate-1

Round Five:

Bate is noticeably limping. Dar goes after Bate’s leg. Bate sends Dar flying with a German suplex. Dar rolls Bate into another knee bar. Bate reverses it into a German suplex. Mensah gets on the apron. Bate knocks Mensah off the apron. Rebound clothesline by Bate. Bate sets up another Tyler Driver. Dar reverses it into a pin. Bate counters that into another pin for the win!

Winner- Tyler Bate

In-Ring Segment: Ilja Dragunov

Dragunov says it’s time for Trick Williams to claim responsibility for his actions. He better not keep Dragunov waiting. Williams walks out on the stage. Williams says he can see in Dragunov’s eyes that he ain’t backing down, and he isn’t either. Before anything happens, Williams wants to holla at Dragunov first. Dragunov says Williams doesn’t have a right to make demands. If Williams takes one step further, it will go bad for Williams. Williams has a proposal for Dragunov. Dragunov says the only reason he isn’t NXT Champion is because of Williams.

Williams says he didn’t hit Dragunov with the title at Great American Bash he ran into it. Williams challenges Dragunov to a match. He is going to shut down all the whispers. He ain’t no sidekick. He’s gonna prove that he can beat one of the best. Dragunov complains about not being able to fulfill his destiny. Dragunov tells Williams to think about what he is asking for because he will break him. Williams says he knows who Dragunov is and will show who he is at NXT Heatwave. Dragunov says he’ll see Williams at Heatwave, where his career will die.

Backstage, Damon Kemp asks Charlie Dempsey and Drew Gulak if he can train with them again. Gulak says they know he’s tough, but eh. Tank and Hank are not cleared to compete, so Gulak and Dempsey don’t have opponents tonight. Briggs and Jensen challenge them to a match.

Von Wagner w/Mr. Stone vs. Bron Breakker

Breakker tries a suplex. Wagner escapes and lands a shoulder block. Suplex by Wagner. Breakker rolls out of the ring. Wagner clears off the commentary desk with the crowd chants for a table. Breakker drives Wagner into the apron. Breakker works over Wagner and mocks him along the way. Wagner fires up and sets up his finish. Breakker escapes and hits a Spear for the win.

Winner- Bron Breakker

After the match, Breakker grabs Mr. Stone. Wagner saves Mr. Stone and knocks Breakker out of the ring. Breakker powerbomb Breakker through the commentary desk.

Backstage, Schism interrupts Tony D’Angelo and Stack’s NXT Tag Title photoshoot looking for the Creed Brothers. The Dyad makes a play for a match for the tag titles. Gacy tells them to focus on finding the Creed Brothers first.

Briggs and Jensen w/Fallon Henley vs. Drew Gulak and Charlie Dempsey

The match breaks down into a four-way brawl. While Jensen is fighting Dempsey outside the ring. Damon Kemp runs down to ringside and exploder suplexes Jensen out on the floor. Kemp sends Jensen back into the ring. Dempsey pins Jensen after a dragon suplex.

Winners- Drew Gulak and Charlie Dempsey

Backstage, Dana Brooke yells at Kelani Jordan about finding her killer instinct. Jordan says this is only her third match, and she doesn’t know what her killer instinct looks like. Brooke says she’ll show Jordan when she faces Blair Davenport herself.

Kiana James vs. Ivy Nile

As soon as the bell rings, James tosses her bag at Nile and boots her in the gut. James sends Nile out of the ring. Nile tries to fight back, but gets sent into the ringpost. James slams Nile’s arm on the floor over and over again. James works over Nile’s arm. After the break, Schism and their followers surround the ring. They start banging on the ring apron.

Nile catches James with a back elbow. Nile lands a flurry of strikes, followed by a rana. James crawls to the corner. Leaping sidekick by Nile. James hits a spinebuster. Nile kicks out, but James transitions into a Fujiwara armbar. Nile starts to apply the Dragon Slayer, but gets too close to the ropes, which allows Ava Rayne to grab Nile’s leg. In the confusion, James hits Nile with her finish for the win.

Winner- Kiana James

After the match, Schism surrounds Nile. D’Angelo and Stacks hit the ring with crowbars. Schism scatters.

In the parking lot, Wes Lee tells Trick Williams to let Hayes know he’s coming for him when he’s done with Dijak. Williams tells Lee to tell Hayes himself. Kemp, Dempsey, and Gulak tell Trick Williams he has no chance against Dragunov. Williams tells them he has something special for them next week.

North American Championship Match: Dominik Mysterio (c) w/Rhea Ripley vs. Dragon Lee w/Rey Mysterio

Dominik forces Lee into the corner. Dominik slaps Lee. Lee chases Dominik around the ring and lands a flurry of strikes. A dropkick sends Dominik flying out of the ring. Dominik gets in his father’s face. Ripley steps in between them. Lee takes Dominik out with a baseball slide. After the break, Dominik lands a slingshot senton for a near fall. Dominik works over Lee. Lee fires up and sends Dominik over the top with a clothesline. Tope suicida by Lee. Dominik is almost sent through the commentary desk. Lee sends Dominik back into the ring and lands a running knee for a near fall. Lee goes up top. Dominik cuts him off.

Lee knocks Dominik into a tree of woe. Lee lands a double stomp. Dominik kicks out at 2.9. Lee and Dominik trade strikes. Slingshot German suplex by Lee. Dominik knocks Lee into a 619. Lee gets his knees up while Dominik tries a splash. Lee hits his powerbomb. Dominik kicks out. Ripley sends the North American title into the ring. Mysterio rips it out of his son’s hands. While the referee is distracted, Ripley hits Lee in the back of the head with her championship. Lee walks into a Michinoku Driver from Dominik. Dominik gets the three count.

Winner and STILL North American Champion, Dominik Mysterio!

After the match, Mysterio gets in Dominik’s face. Ripley steps between them. Ripley pokes Mysterio in the chest over and over again. Lyra Valkyria hits the ring. Everyone brawls. Mysterio and co stand tall while Ripley and Dominik retreat.
