Nick Aldis is reportedly backstage at the August 11 taping of WWE SmackDown.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that the former NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion is backstage ahead of the show. Johnson wrote that Aldis is there as a continuation of his tryout as a WWE producer.
Aldis previously wrapped up his run with IMPACT Wrestling following the post-Slammiversary TV tapings. PWInsider subsequently reported that Aldis was backstage ahead of the August 7 episode of WWE RAW for a tryout as a WWE producer.
The former NWA star recently pulled out of some upcoming bookings due to a back injury. More information is available here.
