Chelsea Green is on the hunt for a new tag team partner, and her search led her to Tommasso Ciampa.
Green is one-half of the reigning WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. Her partner, Sonya Deville, went down with a torn ACL, so Green has been looking for a new teammate.
In a video on August 14, Green shared a clip of herself recruiting Ciampa. She told him she was looking for her next tag team partner. He responded by referring to one of his past friendships. Without naming Johnny Gargano, he recalled the complex history of DIY.
Green then encouraged Ciampa to put up a missing poster, and he seemed to like the idea.
Gargano has been absent from WWE TV in recent weeks. It is unclear when he will make his return.
