Noam Dar now reigns supreme as the true NXT Heritage Cup Champion.
On the June 13 episode of WWE NXT, Nathan Frazer was set to challenge Dar for the trophy. Dar claimed that he was injured and unable to compete, so Frazer faced Oro Mensah instead. Frazer then beat Mensah to win the NXT Heritage Cup trophy. However, Dar later started carrying around his own version of the trophy, as he claimed that he never lost it.
Dar and Frazer faced off in a Heritage Cup match on the “Heatwave” special episode of WWE NXT. They battled it out for six rounds, and in the end, Dar scored the win. After some interference from Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson, he evaded a Phoenix Splash and pinned Frazer by rocking him with a kick.
Dar is now technically a three-time NXT Heritage Cup Champion, as he previously won the trophy in NXT UK.
