Paul Wight: There’s A High Probability Captain Insano Will Probably Make It To AEW All In

Paul Wight teases that Captain Insano will make an appearance at AEW All In.

Wight played Captain Insano in the 1998 movie The Waterboy. He brought the character into the wrestling world on the November 16, 2022, episode of AEW Dynamite. There, he made a cameo in a music video from The Acclaimed.

Since then, Wight has teased that the character could make another appearance, but it has yet to come to fruition. However, the legend is teasing that Captain Insano might pop up at AEW All In.

DAZN Wrestling shared a clip of an interview with Wight, in which he was asked whether fans will see Captain Insano return.

“If I were a gambling man, which I’m not, I would bet very strongly that there’s a high, high probability that Captain Insano will probably make it to Wembley,” Paul Wight said.

Additionally, Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reports that, per sources, Captain Insano gear has been made for possible use of the character. Sapp wrote that a potential match involving Insano was discussed for the show. The bout would see Insano and The Hardys face Jeff Jarrett, Jay Lethal, and Satnam Singh. However, Jeff Hardy can’t get into the United Kingdom. Plus, Singh’s status for the show is unclear due to potential complications.

Paul Wight has not wrestled since March 2022, as he has been recovering from surgery.

WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
