Arn Anderson: Brock Anderson’s AEW Contract Is Up At The End Of August

Arn Anderson provides an update on his son Brock Anderson‘s AEW contract status.

Speaking on his ARN podcast, the WWE Hall of Famer was asked whether Brock Anderson has re-signed with AEW yet. Arn stated that he hadn’t, and his deal is up at the end of August.

“Not yet, but it’s up at the end of the month,” Anderson said. “End of August, so we will see. I hope so. I hope he’s one of those guys, guys like him and Taz’s kid, and a lot of young talent that has a lot to offer. Just haven’t had the chance yet. I hope things work out and we’re able to stay.”

Arn Anderson went on to praise his son when the young star’s match against Luchasaurus came up. He described how Brock Anderson is eager to compete and be a part of AEW.

“Brock is just champing at the bit, just to get out and just to compete and be a part of the company,” he said. “There was no angst about him. He knew he was overmatched and strength and experience and all those things, he knew that. I never saw one look in his eye that was like, ‘Maybe I shouldn’t , maybe it’s too soon for me to be in a spot like this.’ Never saw that from him. He’s a guy that’s had 40 matches or 45, or whatever he’s had. That’s not a lot.

“He just wants to be a part of the company. I would love to see him get more plugged in and, if nothing else, just get to wrestle more at the shows, even if it’s dark matches in front of live crowds. He loves the business. He’s a smart kid. You can sit down and talk business with him, and he’s like talking to a guy that’s had ten years of experience. He grew up around myself and Flair, and a lot of smart guys, [like] Dusty. He’s heard the philosophy, and he’s been at our table.”
