Darby Allin Says He’s Not 100% Going Into AEW All Out

Darby Allin is heading into his TNT Title match with Luchasaurus pretty banged up following All In.

All Elite Wrestling‘s Darby Allin was a recent guest on CBS Chicago ahead of All Out. When asked about how he was feeling heading into the pay-per-view, Allin revealed he wasn’t 100% after what took place at All In.

“I’m not 100%,” Darby Allin admitted. “We had a show in London, the biggest wrestling show of all time, 80,000 plus people. But I actually really messed my spine up, but I’m trying to take it easy before Sunday for my championship match.”

Later in the interview, Allin expanded upon how he injured his back at All In and what it would take to beat someone like Luchasaurus at All Out.

“My lower back is really, really banged up after the show we had at Wembley,” Darby Allin said. “I jumped off the top rope and landed on a metal coffin on my lower spine. And Luchasaurus, man, he’s a huge dude. He’s massive.

“But yeah, like honestly, I don’t know. I think a lot of it has to do with where I’m willing to go in that ring. And there’s a lot of people that aren’t willing to go where I’m willing to go mentally and physically; I can take a big butt kicking, so when the adrenaline’s going, there’s things I’m capable of that I believe nobody else says.”

When asked if there were a chance this injury would keep him sidelined from All Out this weekend, Allin joked that he can still touch his toes, so he’s good to go.

“No, I can touch my toes still,” Darby Allin joked. “So I think I’m good.”
