WWE NXT Viewership Increases On 9/5, Demo Also Rises

WWE NXT viewership increased on September 5.

As reported by Wrestlenomics, 673,000 viewers watched the show on Tuesday. This number is up from last week when 614,000 viewers tuned in.

In the 18 to 49 demographic, NXT scored a 0.18 rating, which is also up from last week (a 0.16 rating in the same demographic).

This Week’s Episode Of WWE NXT

This week’s show kicked off with Tiffany Stratton defeating Kiana James to retain the NXT Women’s Championship. Following the match, Becky Lynch appeared on the Tron to reveal she’ll be challenging Stratton for the title next week.

Elsewhere on the show, the Global Heritage Invitational tournament continued. Butch and Axiom wrestled to a draw. And Nathan Frazier picked up a victory in the tournament over Duke Hudson.

In the main event, Bron Breakker defeated Von Wagner in a no-disqualification match. Following the match, Breakker continued his attack on Wagner and smashed the steel steps into his head. This resulted in Wagner being stretchered out of the venue after NXT went off the air.
