AEW Dynamite Viewership Increases On 9/6, Demo Also Rises

AEW Dynamite viewership increased on September 6.

According to Wrestlenomics, 887,000 viewers watched the show on Wednesday night, and it drew a 0.31 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership is up from last week’s episode when 871,000 viewers tuned in. The demo was also up from last week‘s episode, which also drew a 0.30 rating in the same demographic.

What happened on AEW Dynamite this week?

This week’s show kicked off with a promo from Orange Cassidy, which led to newly crowned AEW International Champion Jon Moxley defeating AR Fox.

Elsewhere on the show, Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara defeated Aussie Open, but there were still issues between the two men as Guevara walked out on Jericho following the match. The full brackets were announced for the Grand Slam World Title Eliminator Tournament. The finals will take place on AEW Dynamite next week.

In the main event, Darby Allin defeated Nick Wayne to advance to the semi-finals of the Grand Slam World Title Eliminator Tournament. He’ll face Roderick Strong at AEW Collision this Saturday night.
