Don West and Mike Tenay will be honored at IMPACT Bound For Glory.
During IMPACT Victory Road on July 8, IMPACT Wrestling announced that Don West and Mike Tenay will be inducted into the IMPACT Hall of Fame at IMPACT Bound For Glory on October 21.
West and Tenay were the commentary team in the early years of TNA/IMPACT Wrestling, and they are widely viewed as one of the most legendary duos in wrestling history. They hold a key place in TNA history, as they called the action at the first pay-per-view. They remained together for the next several years.
Tenay left the company in 2016. West departed IMPACT in 2012 but returned in 2017. At that time, he moved away from commentary and into the merchandise department. He made a one-off return at Slammiversary XV.
West passed away on December 30, 2022, due to his battle with lymphoma.
