The Undertaker Impersonated By An NFL Referee

REF… In… Peace.

One of the greatest wrestlers of all time is The Undertaker. He has made a huge impact in the wrestling business even people who don’t follow the promotion.

The Deadman started his career in the late 1980s. He had several ring names including Mean Mark Callous, The Master of Pain, Texas Red, Commando, and many more. Being in the industry for almost 40 years, the wrestling legend has accomplished a lot. He has captured the top title in WWE a total of seven times. The Undertaker was inducted into the Hall of Fame last year.

Despite his accomplishments, The Phenom is known for some of his character traits. Be it the infamous gong at the start of his theme song, or the way he appears in the ring after the lights go off. Another signature trademark of The Undertaker is his sit-up whenever his opponents assume he’s knocked out.

His signature sit-up was impersonated by an NFL referee during a recent game. It was the opening week of the NFL’s 2023 season. The game was between the Arizona Cardinals and the Washington Commanders.

The game between the two NFL teams was a very close one. At the end of the first half, The Cardinals were in the lead with a total of 13 points. The Commanders were trailing by three points. In the end, the Washington team managed to clinch the victory by scoring 10 points in the final quarter defeating The Arizona Cardinals.

The referee was taken down during a tackle during one of the drives. The referee hardly flinched, he was knocked down but then he quickly got up like The Deadman.

The Undertaker retired from wrestling after the Boneyard Match at WrestleMania 36.
