Nia Jax Has Reportedly Been Under WWE Contract For More Than A Month

The internet is still buzzing about Nia Jax‘s surprise return to WWE last night on Monday Night Raw. It is now being reported that the former Women’s Champion was signed over a month ago.

In the main event of last night’s episode of Raw, Rhea Ripley defended her WWE Women’s World Heavyweight Championship against Raquel Rodriguez. After successfully retaining her title, she was taken out by the returning Nia Jax.

The Irresistible Force brutally assaulted The Eradicator leaving her beaten and bruised in the middle of the ring. Jax walked away laughing while Ripley was being checked on by medical staff.

How long has she been signed?

PWInsider.com first reported there were talks about Nia Jax’s return on August 7. According to that report, Jax was not seen at WWE TV, but multiple sources mentioned her name coming up “as of late.”

Following her return, Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp took to Twitter to report that The Irresistible Force had signed a WWE contract over a month ago. She was reportedly the first one to be signed after Vince McMahon returned to power.

“Nia Jax has been signed for over a month, I’m told. She’s the first signing that was made since Vince McMahon forced his way back into the company that returned on Main Roster TV,” Sean Ross Sapp tweeted.

Jax began her WWE career in 2014. She started her run in NXT and slowly worked her way up to the main roster. She’s a former Women’s Tag Team Champion. The Irresistible Force has also captured the Raw Women’s Championship once in her career.

Earlier this year at the 2023 Royal Rumble Premium Live Event, Jax made a surprise appearance. She was one of the 30 women in the Royal Rumble match. While the Irresistible Force showed off her strength as soon as she made her way to the ring, she was quickly eliminated as the rest of the participants ganged up on her.
