WWE RAW Viewership Decreases On 9/11, Demo Also Down

WWE RAW viewership decreased on September 11.

Per Wrestlenomics, an average of 1.353 million viewers watched the show this week. This number is down from last week, when 1.704 million viewers tuned in.

In the 18 to 49 demographic, RAW scored a 0.40 rating, which is also down from last week (0.51 rating in the same demographic). 

Monday’s episode went head-to-head with the return of NFL Monday Night Football on ESPN, where the Buffalo Bills faced the New York Jets in a high-profile game. Per Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, the game drew over 22 million viewers combined across three stations.

Per Wrestlenomics, Monday’s episode was the least-watched episode of RAW ever, aside from the “Best Of” edition that aired on December 26, 2022.

This Week’s WWE RAW

This week’s episode of WWE RAW opened with Jey Uso, who was interrupted by Kevin Owens and The Judgment Day. Owens and Uso then faced Damian Priest and Finn Balor, and a miscommunication between Jey and KO led to a Judgment Day victory.

Elsewhere on the show, Drew McIntyre defeated Xavier Woods. Plus, The Miz defeated Akira Tozawa in preparation for his rematch with LA Knight this Friday night on SmackDown.

In the main event, thanks to an assist from a returning Nia Jax, Rhea Ripley defeated Raquel Rodriguez to retain the WWE Women’s World Championship. Jax also attacked Ripley following the match.
