LA Knight has his sights set on the gold.
On the September 15 episode of WWE SmackDown, LA Knight’s feud with The Miz came to a head. The two stars met in a rematch from WWE Payback, where Knight won a bout in which John Cena was the special guest referee. The two foes clashed in a match with a standard referee on Friday, and Knight scored the hard-fought win.
After the match, Knight grabbed a microphone and reminded everyone that he was coming for the gold. He noted that he looked at the top of the mountain, where the champions reside. Knight called out Rey Mysterio, Seth Rollins, Gunther, and Roman reigns and stated that it didn’t matter which of them it was. He said that he’s easily top-two, and he’s not number one.
Fans will have to wait and see what Knight’s future holds and which title he chases.
