Will Ospreay and Zack Sabre Jr. will officially clash at NJPW Royal Quest III on October 14.
At NJPW Destruction in Kobe, Ospreay defeated Yota Tsuji to retain the IWGP UK Championship. Following the match, Sabre Jr. challenged Ospreay to face him, and “The Commonwealth Kingpin” accepted.
Sabre Jr. previously issued the challenge at RevPro’s 11 Year Anniversary show after Ospreay’s win against Shingo Takagi.
Sabre Jr. is the reigning NJPW World TV Champion.
Both Ospreay and Sabre Jr. are set to compete at AEW WrestleDream on October 1. Ospreay will team up with Konosuke Takeshita and Sammy Guevara to face Chris Jericho, Kenny Omega, and Kota Ibushi. Meanwhile, Sabre Jr. will take on Bryan Danielson.
