Drew McIntyre and Batman have a similar mindset.
In recent weeks, McIntyre has been teasing a new attitude on WWE RAW. He left Jey Uso to get beat up by The Judgment Day after their match on the September 25 episode of WWE RAW. The following week, The Miz compared McIntyre to Batman and called Cody Rhodes WWE’s Batman. McIntyre then defeated Kofi Kingston and walked away as Ivar brutally attacked him.
Speaking on RAW Talk, McIntyre was asked to comment on his recent behavior. He cited The Miz’s comparison and noted that there was a lot of truth to it. McIntyre stated that he, like Batman, does what he considers to be the greater good.
“I’m the same guy I’ve always been,” Drew McIntyre said. “I always stand by my principles, and I do what I consider to be the right thing. From what you’ve seen, our locker room is very divided apparently. That’s not how it used to be. I mentioned before, when I was champion, things were very different.
“There was a lot more harmony around here, but it’s just not the case anymore, and it seems appropriate that Miz compared me to Batman. He too is flawed and he sometimes does things that not everybody agrees with. But he does what he considers to be the greater good, and that’s exactly what Drew McIntyre’s doing and exactly what Drew McIntyre’s gonna continue to do.”
